Asim Bannerjee asim_bannerjee[at]daiict.ac.in	Dr. Asim Banerjee is currently working as an associate professor at the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Gandhinagar. He obtained B.E. in Electronics and M.Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation. Dr. Banerjee obtained PhD in the area of image processing from IIT, Bombay. Before joing DA-IICT, Dr. Banerjee was with several industries for 14 years working mainly as researcher. Research Interests: Digital Signal Processing, Handwritten Signature Verification, MPEG4 and beyond and Medical Imaging.
M V Joshi mv_joshi[at]daiict.ac.in	Dr. Manjunath Joshi has been involved in the areas of signal processing, image processing and computer vision research during the last five years. At present he is serving as Professor at DAIICT, Gandhinagar. He has publications in several leading Journals/Conferences in his area of expertise. He has coauthored a book titled Motion-Free Super Resolution published by Springer, New-York. He was awarded the outstanding researcher award (In Enng. Section) by research scholars forum, IIT Bombay, India. He was also awarded the best PhD thesis award by Infineon India. Recently he was awarded with the Dr. Vikram Sarabhai Award 2006-07 (In Information Technology) by the Government of Gujarat, India. He was a Visiting Scientist, LSIIT Lab, Strasbourg, France during May-Nov, 2007 (Under Space Fusion Project Funded by French Research Agency – ANR). He works as a Reviewer for many of the International Conferences/Journals in his area of expertise. He is member of IEEE (USA) and life member of IETE (India). Research interests: Digital Image Processing, Computer Vision, Digital Signal Processing, Digital Communications.
Suman K. Mitra suman_mitra[at]daiict.ac.in	Dr. Suman K. Mitra is an Associate Professor at the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Gandhinagar. Dr. Mitra obtained his Ph.D. from the Indian Statistical Institute, Calcutta. Earlier to his current position, Dr. Mitra was with the Institute of Neural Computation at the University of California, San Diego, USA and with the Department of Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Dr. Mitra has 45 technical papers published in various prestigious National and International Journals and Conferences. He also has 2 US patents in his credit. Dr. Mitra’s research interest includes image processing, pattern recognition, Bayesian networks and digital watermarking. Currently, Dr. Mitra is serving International Journal of Image and Graphics (IJIG) as an Associate Editor. Dr. Mitra is a Senior Member of IEEE and life member of Indian Unit of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence (IUPRAI) which is affiliated to International Association of Pattern Recognition (IAPR) and also a life member of Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA). Research Interests: Image processing, pattern recognition, Bayesian networks and digital watermarking.
Dr. Mehul Raval mehul_raval[at]daiict.ac.in	Dr. Mehul S Raval obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Pune in Digital Data hiding techniques. He obtained his B.E (E&TC) in 1996 and M.E (Digital systems) in 2002 from College of Engineering, Pune (COEP). Currently he is serving as an Assistant Professor the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar. Earlier he has served as an Assistant Professor at Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology Surat and also as Department Incharge of Electronics and Communication Engineering in same institute. He has 17 technical papers published in various prestigious national and international journals and conferences. He is a member of various professional bodies like IEEE, IETE,The Institution of Engineers (India), Computer Society of India, Indian Society for Technical education. Dr. Anil Roy anil_roy[at]daiict.ac.in	Dr. Anil Roy is currently working as an assistant professor at the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Gandhinagar. He done his PhD. fron IIT Delhi. Before joining DA-IICT, he worked at technology Centre of Vasu Tech Ltd., New Delhi (an industrial electronics company dealing in embedded technology).
